Introduction to The Roman Road

AMFB is fortified by scripture, prayer, and surrender to His will. Together, we walk the Roman Road.

St. Paul, a Roman citizen, took part in Christian persecution. While on the road to Damascus, he was blinded by a vision of Jesus and remained blind for three days – then was healed by Ananias, a Christian. After his vision and healing, St. Paul proclaimed the divinity of Jesus Christ and dedicated his life to spreading the Christian message.

These Bible verses, written by St. Paul, are found in the New Testament – The Letter of Paul to the Church in Rome. They are part of the ROMAN ROAD TO SALVATION.

Our New Life
…Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly! Romans 5:8

And even more than that, we overflow with triumphant joy in our new relationship of living in harmony with God – all because of Jesus Christ. Romans 5:11

Grace Frees Us To Serve God
For sin’s meager wage is death, but God’ lavish gift is life eternal, found in union with our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. Romans 6:23

Faith Righteousness
And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation, which is the message that we preach. For if you believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and publicly confess with your mouth that he is Lord, you will be saved. The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God – and then the mouth gives thanks to salvation. Romans 10:9-10

Good News For All People
And it’s true: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Yahweh will be rescued and experience new life.” Romans 10:13

Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterances of the Anointed One. Romans 10:17
